I've been so busy as of late - my class schedule turned out to be a perverse combination of the senior MIS curriculum and the sophomore/junior CS curriculum. Both of those are hellish years for those majors. So right now, I'm in hell^2.

Two of my classes have group projects, as CS one and a management one. I'm the lead of both groups, and in one of them, I AM the group. The group is USELESS is both skills and work ethic. When they actually show up for class, they must not pay any attention, because they have no idea what's going on. And this far into the semester, I have none of their phone numbers... despite having requested them like, 10 times at least by now.

Things of note that have happened lately:
1.) Had a hamthrax (H1N1) scare yesterday - turned out to be a huge surge of stress and anxiety making my body try to eat itself or something, I dunno.

2.) Discovered that my first-person gaming motion sickness is actually pretty common, and called simulator sickness. The solution is to gradually condition myself with games that usually set it off, and take ginger pills. So far it's been working, now to figure out how to get rid of the headaches without a nap...

3.) I have over 2,000 deviations in my folder. Boo.

4.) Installed Windows 7 Pro on my laptop yesterday night! Just need to transfer files that require archiving to my external, and get some important MS Office applications installed now. May consider removing Vista from my other partition entirely if I decide I don't need it... oh, and I need to solder the connection in the back, where the power cord plugs in... that's kinda junked up right now...

5.) Planning on moving into a new place for next year, but where I live you need to be searching and signing leases for next year around this time of year. Well, I'm moving if my friend and I can find a place together - living alone is lonely, and encourages us both to be slackers and messy pigs, ha ha. What we really want is the double room in our building, but we need to literally jump on it the second we find out whether it's free or not, because there's just the one in the entire building. (Lame.)

Aside from all that, on an art note, I'm too busy with being serious business to do anything artistic. Hoping winter break is empty enough that I have time to do some stuff for myself like that, otherwise I probably won't have time until this summer Dx

Planning to go to Otakon next year, but who I'm going with and what costume are up in the air. Dave and I are a bit on the rocks (and he doesn't strike me as the type that would enjoy that kind of thing), and my roommates from last year are a bit iffy on attendance. May just get a 2-person room and hope one of my friends will come with.

Meh, just hanging out and being awesome. Really need to try to get some work done around here sometime, though, ha ha.

Oh, and the Team Fortress Medic is win... I just have so many good costume ideas, if only I weren't so busy/lazy! T___T ((Others currently gestating are human!Glados, human!XBox360, and human!Sableye. At least I have the catsuit for Sableye...))
